Bare Esthetics & Waxing Studio
Privacy policy
What we collect, why, and what we do not do. The short version: no forms, no ads, and analytics you can opt out of.

Who we are
This site is operated by Bare Esthetics & Waxing Studio, a waxing and skincare studio at 9141 Cross Park Dr Ste 16, Knoxville, TN 37923. You can reach us on (865) 978-1239 or at [email protected], which is also the address to use for anything in this policy.
This policy covers this website only. It does not cover your appointments in the studio, or GlossGenius, Instagram, Facebook, Google, or any other service we link to.
What we collect
Things you type in and send us
Nothing on this site asks for personal information. There are no forms here. When you book, you do it on GlossGenius, our booking provider. What you enter there is collected by GlossGenius under its own privacy policy and shared with us so we can manage your appointment.
Things collected automatically
Our host records ordinary web-server information on every request: your IP address, your browser and device type, the page you asked for, the page you came from, and the time. This is what lets the site be delivered and lets us see abuse or attacks.
We also use two analytics tools to understand how the site is used, so we can make it more useful:
- Google Analytics records which pages you view, how you arrived (for example from a search), your approximate location based on your IP address, your device and browser type, and whether you tapped a call or book button. It uses cookies to tell one visit from another. See Cookies below.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits and page views without cookies and without identifying you.
We use these numbers in aggregate. We do not use them to identify individual visitors.
What we do not do
- We do not run advertising or remarketing on this site.
- We do not have user accounts or passwords.
- We do not take payments on this website.
- We do not sell your personal information, and we never have.
Why we collect it
| What | Why | Basis |
|---|---|---|
| Server log information | To deliver the site and keep it secure | Our legitimate interest |
| Analytics | To see which pages help visitors and improve the site | Our legitimate interest |
| Booking details (on GlossGenius) | To schedule and manage your appointment | Your request |
Who else handles it
We use a small number of companies to run the site. They only handle your information to provide their service to us.
- Cloudflare hosts the site, delivers it, and provides the cookieless visit counts. Request logs sit with them.
- Google provides Google Analytics, the fonts this site uses, and the map on the home page. When your browser loads any of these, Google receives your IP address and browser information.
- GlossGenius runs our online booking. Its own privacy policy covers what you enter there.
- SiteWise Websites built and maintains this site.
We may also hand over information if the law requires it.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets two cookies on this site, named _ga and _ga_4NWGS5E00R. They hold a random identifier so repeat visits can be counted, and last up to two years. We checked on 1 October 2026 with a fresh browser profile, with the map fully loaded, and those two were the only cookies set. Nothing else is stored in your browser.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. The site works the same either way.
How long we keep it
Google Analytics keeps its data for the retention period set in our account, then deletes it. Server logs are kept by Cloudflare on their own schedule. We do not keep a separate copy of either.
Your choices and your rights
Email [email protected] and we will act on any of these:
- Ask what we hold about you, and get a copy.
- Ask us to correct it, or delete it.
- Object to what we are doing with it.
If you are in California, you have the right to know, delete, and correct, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell it. We will not treat you differently for asking about any of this.
If you are in the UK or the EU, the bases we rely on are in the table above, and you can complain to your local data protection authority. Our host and analytics providers are US companies, so information about you is handled in the United States.
Security
The whole site is served over HTTPS. We hold no passwords and no card details, because the site has neither accounts nor checkout. No website can promise perfect security, and we will not pretend otherwise.
Children
This website is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online from anyone under 13. If we learn we have, we will delete it. Tell us at [email protected] if that has happened.
Changes
If we change this policy we will change the effective date at the top.
